About the Fire Chief

I am honored to be the Fire Chief of the Village of Montour Falls Fire Department, which is comprised of the finest 53 volunteers in Schuyler County. This group is the nucleus of our team concept that provides exceptional public services delivered with pride. The team manifests itself as the firefighters and EMS personnel who deliver the highly visible emergency services, yet is sustained by the support of the community behind the scenes. We cherish diversity in our team and use our differences to enhance public service delivery.
The Fire Department works diligently to be technically current, fiscally responsible, and trained to provide the optimal level of public services and enhance member safety. This agency embraces change as the mechanism to serve the public and our members in the fire services highest traditions. We are a respected leader within our community and a trusted emergency provider when counted upon to provide mutual aid to neighboring agencies.
I thank each and every one of the dedicated men and women who serve in our organization and I thank our community residents who support our efforts. Together we join these energies in accomplishing the goals necessary to serve our community.
